A silverfish's diet can have a variety of foods including the carbon AND nitrogen in your worm bin but will more favor the sugars and starches.
They will also like the darkness and moist environment the worm bin provides.
You can try backing off the nitrogen (kitchen scraps) and adding more carbon bedding like shredded paper, shredded cardboard, etc, but make sure the bin is moist and not wet. This is not guaranteed but a very good start.
However, because silverfish like nearly the same environment as composting worms, it would be a good idea to use "food grade" Diatomaceous Earth (DE) on top of whatever blanket you use to cover the bedding (such as a few sheets of newsprint).
DE is ineffective when wet so reapplication 2-3 times will be needed.
If you aren't familiar with Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth please see my webpage on DE and how to apply it in the worm bin.
Thanks for your question Cindy. I hope this will Get Rid of Silverfish in the Worm Bin.

Hey Cindy,
If it's even remotely sweet I wouldn't use it but your quickest solution would be to use Diatomaceous Earth, but using higher amounts of carbon material is beneficial.
I'm just not familiar with the sugar cane mulch or if it's remotely sweet or even starchy. So as long as both materials aren't sweet or starchy I would say go for it.
